Video of Latest Inside Scoop: The Emerald Planet

As many of you know, I am a member of the volunteer crew for the Inside Scoop series of television shows. We have shows that focus on Virginia politics, national and international politics, the "solidarity soapbox" that focuses on labor related issues, and "the emerald planet" which focuses on environmental issues. "The Emerald Planet" is the latest version as the second episode aired on Sunday evening and discussed some of the latest technology which can be used to help increase energy efficiency.

For those of you who weren't able to tune in, here's the video of Sunday night's episode.

    Just KILL YOUR TV !!!

Better than be propagandized by TV, actually get out in your community and work with others to improve our economy and environment.

Those flat screen TVs are made with nitrogen trifluoride (NF3, a substance that is supposedly 17,000 times more harmful to our atmosphere than C02.

The typical large flat screen uses 300-400 Watts and even while turned off, they use about five Watts. That is one HELL of a lot of electricity when multiplied nation wide.

So, if you want to live a more environmentally friendly, happier, propaganda-less, life, KILL YOUR TV!!
