Joe Biden is Obama's VP Pick

At 3:30 this morning the Obama campaign sent out a text message announcing that Sen. Joe Biden would be the VP nominee. I think this is a great pick as Biden brings a lot to the table in field of foreign policy.

That being said, was anyone else disappointed in the fact that they sent the announcement out at 3:30 in the morning? The whole purpose of having the announcement be in a text message was so that supporters would be the first to know. Since there aren't very many people who are up at that hour, however, it essentially meant that most supporters didn't find out until several hours later when they woke up. In the long run it really doesn't matter much, I just thought that was a little disappointing.
